As someone who has very little knowledge about violins myself, it was reassuring to receive advice from someone so experienced and generous with his knowledge, to make violin ownership/maintenance a little less daunting.do al2023-09-02My son broke the strings of his violin yesterday and we need to have it fix before Monday. I found Fiddler Dan Violins & Workshop (via internet search) and called Dan to check my son's violin. He was very accommodating and asked me to come over. Dan fixed our violin in no time. She now has a beautiful violin, bow, and chin rest with rosin. It is just above an entry level full sized 4/4 violin, and it has higher quality strings on it. It is gorgeous with a beautiful sound, and my daughter and I are so happy with our purchase. 🎻 Edit: We are back nine months later getting a string replaced, and Dan went through some basic techniques with my daughter, as we weren't able to secure a tutor where we lived. It just made her day, and she was so proud of her progress. She is so much more confident with holding the bow and everything. Dan is most certainly, the man! 10/10 would recommend!
